Only 900,000 twenty-five cent pieces were struck in 1870. A very low figure by world standards. The coin is completely problem free and has excellent eye appeal with wonderful original color. A very attractive specimen with a strong, VF-EF obverse, and lots of detail on the reverse leaves. Quite scarce this nice!!
