1878CC Barber Trade DollarRARE UNCIRCULATED!!!!!!!!You are bidding on an ultra rare 1878 Carson City Trade Dollar! This coin is in beautiful condition...There were only 97,000 of these coins minted in 1878, and on July 19th, 1878 the United States Mint melted 44,148 Trade Dollars, many of which were these Carson City coins. Who knows how many of these are left and especially in this condition.I understand that the grading company NTC overgrades all the coins they grade, but the grading does guarantee that the coin is not a counterfeit! If you check the price guide you will see how much this coin books for even in an MS60...and I believe this coin to be higher than that grade! This coin was designed by William Barber and minted at the famous Carson City Mint. It weighs 27.22 grams and is composed of .900 silver and .100 copper. The diameter is 38.1mm!If you have any questions about this coin, feel free to email me(I do not end auctions with a buy it now). |
