This coin fits the slang term of "slider." It is an AU showing light handling and polish on the high points and typical bag and contact marks on the devices and in the fields. It is a nicely struck example that could be mistaken for a better grade. A problem free coin with nice eye appeal, color, and full brilliance. It is the only affordable 1927 Saint Gaudens with the other mints bringing rarified prices. A perfect candidate for a date or type set.
