AIR REDUCTION CO(THE BEST) MINERS SPELUNKING CRYOGENICS
A Collectible Certificate from the Famous AIR REDUCTION COMPANY Their BEST and MOST EXPENSIVE VERSION! And - at least as of right now - this is the Only Place on eBay you can buy it! This Company was begun in 1916 to produce High-Purity Oxygen! It grew rapidly and in the 1920s diversified by acquiring two other companies and started producing Carbon Dioxide. Very soon it purchased National Carbide to also produce Calcium Carbide - used since 1892 in carbide lamps for Miners and also Lighthouse Beacons! Modern Spelunkers - cave explorers - still use them! Frozen Carbon Dioxide is - of course - DRY ICE and in the 1930s they acquired the American Dry Ice Corporation. CO2 in its Solid Form is used to preserve perishable food. In its Gaseous Form this handy compound of simple elements is what they use to put the FIZZ in Soda-Pop! In the 1960s they also got into the business of CRYOGENICS - that weird Science that is making so much news today by hoping to Freeze Human Beings and Thaw them out Later!
