ANGLO-GALLIC HENRY V ENGLAND AND FRANCE NIQUET ROUEN
A billon medieval coin of King Henry V of England, 1413-1422 who was also King of France. Known as an Anglo-Gallic issue and listed in Elias. This was a Niquet, a coin with a leopard of England with Fleur-de-Lys above on the obverse and a cross on the reverse. Rouen mint. The silver wash of this billon coin is starting to come off, not surprising given its circulation, but still plenty left to see. Condition as shown. Picture is 2X original size.
