Astro (Astrology) geocoin Unactivated and Trackable on Geocaching.com Up for your consideration is an Astro geocoin in the Winter Shades version. This coin was recently introduced for sale from Germany, but the manufacturer quickly sold out. This is your opportunity to collect one or all of these finely detailed coins. There are four regular release finishes (150 of each color minted) including: Spring Breeze, Summer Splash, Autumn Glow and Winter Shades, plus a Limited Edition version called Solar Eclipse (100 minted). Each measures 1.75” (44mm) in diameter and is 3mm thick. The Solar Eclipse is not yet available, but you can check out my current auctions to see examples of the other three finishes. The front of each coin sports the 12 zodiac signs and is inlaid with 3-colors of enamel and metal work. They are also marked with a 0-360 scale (segmented to represent the 12 months), as well as date periods for the zodiacs and their Latin names. The back shows Zodiac symbols (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zodiac for additional information) and colored bands represent one of the four elements of the “Zodione” (air, fire, earth and water). furthermore, the stages of day and night are represented with the background behind the sunburst filled with glow in the dark enamel. The Winter Shades version comes in frosty light and dark blues and orange enamels. Additionally, it has antiqued silver surfaces on its front and over most of the back side. The blue band on the reverse side denotes the element of water. Due to the nature of this item we cannot offer refunds. Please bid only if you are serious about buying this item.
