EARLY DATED FREY LEVINSON 1477 SAXONY SACHSEN GROSCHEN An early dated 1477 Saxony Spitzgroschen with the partial date of “77” shown as two upside down “V”  - ^^  at end of legend.  Frey 178, Levinson I-155, Krug 1498-1502, Colditz mint. These Spitzgroschen were made of good silver and are full groschens, not half groschens.  The larger pieces are half groschens of lesser silver content.
