Nassau Electric Railroad Company Brooklyn, New York Consolidated Mortgage 4% gold bond Dated February 28, 1917 No. 163, $1000 Signed by Vice President and Assistant Secretary on front; Treasurer of Brooklyn Heights Railroad Company (same as Vice President of Nassau Electric) and Vice President on reverse American Bank Note Company, New York Black ink with sepia border and underlay Vignettes of cable car (top left), allegorical figures (top right) (obscured by tax affidavit) and allegorical woman with child in train yard (bottom center). Certificate is marked cancelled with stamp marks in blue and red (Dec. 15, 1927). Signatures hole-punched. Issued to the Brooklyn Trust company Executor of the Will of Henry R. Jones.
