This eBay listing is for a triple struck error 2001 Lincoln Memorial Cent. This unusual coin has three Lincoln head images - one quite prominent and two which are very faint. The two almost look like "ghost" images. The two are almost 180 degrees off of the main image. They are also off center - the second one probably 10 or 12 degrees and the third one probably 30 degrees. The reverse side design is pretty much obliterated from the multiple die strikes.
If this triple struck error U.S. Lincoln cent will be a good addition to your coin collection, now is the time to bid!
Winning bidders in the United States and Canada will pay $1.50 for shipping and handling. If insurance is desired, the cost is $1.65 in the United States. Insurance is more expensive when shipping to Canada. If winning bidders in Canada want insurance let me know and I will find out the cost and email you.
Winning bidders in other countries will receive an email from me giving the cost for shipping and handling to them as soon as possible after the auction is over.
I prefer Paypal for payment. My Paypal I.D. is ccc@lsol.net. Money order is also OK. Personal checks accepted only from the United States and only if the winning bidder has a good feedback rating! Thanks for bidding! On Apr-23-08 at 18:52:29 PDT, seller added the following information:Note: I just now realized that where I wrote that the images are off center I used the word "degrees". I meant to use "percent" so the second image would be 10 or 12 percent off center and the third one probably 30 percent off center. I cannot change the write-up because there is a bid so I am adding this note! Best Wishes, gemaze. |
